I have been having physiotherapy due to a motor vehicle accident, (deep bruising and muscle tear) the physio has been 5 days a week for the past four weeks, I have been off work since the accident, but now feel much better and I am thinking of returning to work. The question is can I stop physio on my own accord.? The physio has been paid by Insurance. Usually the duration of physio for this type of accident is up to 3 months.Is there any consequences to stopping it ? Thanks

My 1995 Pontiac Firebird V8 Formula has 79,257 miles. I am the second owner and I bought the car when it had about 76,000 miles for $3500. The previous owner took very good care of the car and he was also a mechanic. He used nothing, but premium gasoline and I do as well for the most part. I pay a ridiculous amount for car insurance and gasoline. The car recently got a new starter, alternator, tension belt, drive belt, ignition switch, and 2 new car window motors. Also, when I bought the car I got 2 new front tires which are still almost new. The two rear tires need changing, but I don't know if I should change them to impress potential buyers. The car is in almost excellent condition and it looks impressive for never having a paint job. The rear seat in the car has a stain the size of a hand that came with the car when I bought it. Does anyone know how much I should sell my car for?

"OBAMA'S LEAP TO SOCIALISM By DICK MORRIS Published on TheHill.com on April 21, 2009 President Obama showed his hand this week when The New York Times wrote that he is considering converting the stock the government owns in our country's banks from preferred stock, which it now holds, to common stock. This seemingly insignificant change is momentous. It means that the federal government will control all of the major banks and financial institutions in the nation. It means socialism. The Times dutifully dressed up the Obama plan as a way to avoid asking Congress for more money for failing banks. But the implications of the proposal are obvious to anyone who cares to look. When the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) intervention was first outlined by the Bush administration, it did not call for any transfer of stock, of any sort, to the government. The Democrats demanded, as a price for their support, that the taxpayers "get something back" for the money they were lending to the banks. House Republicans, wise to what was going on, rejected the administration's proposal and sought, instead, to provide insurance to banks, rather than outright cash. Their plan would, of course, not involve any transfer of stock. But Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) undercut his own party's conservatives and went along with the Democratic plan, ensuring its passage. But to avoid the issue of a potential for government control of the banks, everybody agreed that the stock the feds would take back in return for their money would be preferred stock, not common stock. "Preferred" means that these stockholders get the first crack at dividends, but only common stockholders can actually vote on company management or policy. Now, by changing this fundamental element of the TARP plan, Obama will give Washington a voting majority among the common stockholders of these banks and other financial institutions. The almost 500 companies receiving TARP money will be, in effect, run by Washington. And whoever controls the banks controls the credit and, therefore, the economy. That's called socialism. Obama is dressing up the idea of the switch to common stock by noting that the conversion would provide the banks with capital they could use without a further taxpayer appropriation. While this is true, it flies in the face of the fact that an increasing number of big banks and brokerage houses are clamoring to give back the TARP money. Goldman-Sachs, for example, wants to buy back its freedom, as do many banks. Even AIG is selling off assets to dig its way out from under federal control. The reason, of course, is that company executives do not like the restrictions on executive pay and compensation that come with TARP money. It is for this reason that Chrysler Motors refused TARP funds. With bank profits up and financial institutions trying to give back their money, there is no need for the conversion of the government stock from preferred to common -- except to advance the political socialist agenda of this administration. Meanwhile, to keep its leverage over the economy intact, the Obama administration is refusing to let banks and other companies give back the TARP money until they pass a financial "stress test." Nominally, the government justifies this procedure by saying that it does not want companies to become fully private prematurely and then need more help later on. But don't believe it. They want to keep the TARP money in the banks so they can have a reason and rationale to control them. The Times story did not influence the dialogue of the day. People were much more concerned with the death of 21 horses at a polo match. Much as we will miss these noble animals, we will miss our economic freedom more. I am 19 years of age, and I got into an accident with a TTC bus. I tipped the back of the bus slightly, not even a scratch on the bus, but a tiny scratch on my car bonet. Police came and they did all the paper work and the police filled up the "Motor Vehicle Accident Report" and gave me a ticket of "not turn in safety" for $110.00. Questions: 1. If I appeal and go to court and I don't end up paying the fine, will my insurance go high? 2. The "accident report" he made, does this mean my insurance company already got notified of this accident and my insurance will shoot up 3. If I do pay the fine, will my insurance company know about it and i'll have a high insurance? What is the best thing to do in this situation? Please HELP. My parents are already soo mad.

Hi, about a year ago a was in a car accident coming through a intersection, my light was green just going to yellow as i crossed the crosswalk when i noticed a car coming from the left, too fast to stop, i tried to maneuver out of the way but the guy HIT me right in my rear driver side tire, blah blah blah.... well cops came and all, he said i ran the light, i said he ran it (he did) and we both have one other person in the car that was a witness to this. police says it's default, no way to prove it, his own insurances company said the same thing when i asked them to pay for my damage, then the DMV suspends my licenses because of the accident until i pay his insurance company $6000..... now i have no licenses and no job, how do i fix this problem when his own insurance and the police say there is no way to prove who is at fault. the guy ran a red light and hit me, but me not having insurance, they just take his word cuz he is older and i am 19 so kids don't know how to drive????? plezz help ASAP..... Additional Details ok sorry i see i did not word it right, i was driving through a intersection on a green light then it changed to yellow as my car approached the crosswalk (as normal) then the other guy runs a red light and hits me. the crash is not my fault.! in wisconsin its legal to operate a vehicle with out insurance

Ok so I have been in accidents before but never resulting in injury. So this old lady pulls out in front of me turning left and I hit her pretty much head on (hitting the drives side of her car) at about 25mph. So I end up finding out that I have potentially tore my rotator cuff, the wreck was no question according to the cop her fault so I have filed my ER visit under her insurance, now that i've folled up with my Dr. she has set up an MRI appt. and after that if it is the case I will have surgery then go throw physical therapy... The damage to my car is almost minimum compared to all this, its being fixed now by her insurances company so what should I do once the car is fixed but i'm still unsure of what is going to happen with my MRI results. Should I get a lawyer, or stick to keeping in contact with just my insurance company and letting them control talking to the ladies insurance? Any opinions, suggestions greatly appericated!

Resolved Question: What are some issues with buying a car with a salvage title?
I'm not buying I'm selling but want to know what, besides the title, would keep someone from buying the car. It's a 96 Cavalier with 84k miles on a rebuilt motor. It looks really nice and runs great, but it was rear ended. The damage isn't so bad to the trunk, but the trunk rim was bent so the insurance company totaled the car. Part of the settlement was a salvage title but I can keep the car. I might drive it, I might sell it as a point A to point B car for $1,000 OBO. What does anybody think?

Its an 84 Camaro berlinetta 2.8 V-6 motor has 82,xxx miles. motor was rebuilt at 76,xxx miles. It has a 700r4 auto trans. rebuilt same time as the engine with an added shift kit. the body of the car has also been fully repainted and HAD minor body defects. has a nice and clean interior with no damage.
